Myth: A machine is “due”

Fact: On a fair random game, each spin or deal is independent. Past results do not build credit toward a future hit. Seeing ten losses in a row does not raise the chance of the next round paying.

Myth: Hot and cold tables

Fact: Short clusters of similar results happen by chance in any random sequence. Labelling a wheel “hot” is storytelling after the fact, not a property the next spin can use.

Myth: Betting systems beat the house edge

Fact: Progressions such as Martingale change the shape of wins and losses; they do not remove a negative expectation on real-money games, and they do not create value from worthless free coins either. On European roulette, even-money bets still lose to the single zero over time.

Myth: Near misses mean you were close

Fact: In a fair reel game, a near miss is simply another losing combination. It carries no extra information about the next spin. Maple Play House does not bias results to manufacture near misses.

Myth: Free play trains you to win money later
